Thank you for taking time to consider me as your potential counselor. I predominately work with those who have experienced relationship difficulties including communication issues, grief, boundary issues, conflict resolution, life transitions, anxiety, depression, marriage issues, and affair recovery. I desire for every client that I interact with to experience hope in the midst of life’s storms and a healing, collaborative counselor - client relationship. As a Christian counselor, I know that faith and spirituality is very important to some people and I respect each person’s own beliefs and values in therapy. If client’s choose, I am able to incorporate faith as a part of the counseling sessions. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2016 after interning at Abundant Life Counseling Center. I have worked in a couple Christian nonprofit ministries, helping people experience support during lonely times in their lives. While there I intentionally cultivated an environment that was emotionally and physically safe for people to discuss difficult life circumstances. I have provided treatment for those presenting with grief, anger, anxiety, depression, and affects of sexual, emotional, psychological, and/or physical abuse. It would be an honor to work with you in achieving your goals for therapy.
